I taught ballet lessons in Boulder City for almost 30 years, and many of the dancers I taught gave me their first pair of pointe shoes. The girls autographed their shoes for me and now they hang in our Hall of Fame inside our Theatre lobby.  Even tho our theatre (Historic Boulder Theatre) is really Desi's theatre, he allows the Boulder Ciity Ballet Company to call it home.  Costume fittings, rehearsals, classes and oodles of other fun stuff happen inside the theatre.  Our ballet company office is upstairs (in the offices over the lobby) and that's where we also store all of our beautiful handmade tutus and all the costumes we use each December for The Nutcracker.  Aren't these pointe shoes wonderful?
